Applied Science Degree
Pastry and Specialty Baking This program is accredited by the American Culinary Federation
Educational Institute. Upon satisfactory completion of the general education
courses, pastry/baking orientation and introduction courses, and the 28 two-week
instructional modules, students are awarded a Certificate in Pastry and Specialty
Baking
Requirements:
Minimum
cumulative grade pont average of 2.00.
Completion
of Culinary Arts Certificate requirements.
Completion
of a minimum of 18 credits in General Education courses. The required
courses in Psychology of Human Relations, Applied Composition and Technical
Writing are in this category.
Completion
of a minimum of 12 credits in Allied Support courses. Select from accounting,
business or computer science courses. The required coursed in Math for
Technicians and Commercial Food Nutrition are in this category.
